Emotional intelligence is a comparatively new term that is gaining traction in the modern era. In the 1990s, Peter Salovey and John Mayor were the ones responsible for coining the term “emotional intelligence.” The ability to identify and control one’s own emotions as well as those of others in order to arrive at reasonable conclusions is referred to as emotional intelligence (EQ). The ability to monitor one’s own feelings and emotions as well as those of others, to differentiate between those feelings and emotions, and to utilize this information to guide one’s thinking and behavior is referred to as emotional intelligence (EQ). Perceiving, absorbing, comprehending, and controlling one’s feelings have been identified as the four main talents that comprise the concept of emotional intelligence. People who are able to control their own moods and emotions as well as understand the sentiments of others perform better academically, socially, and professionally. The success of a student and the likelihood that the student will go on to lead a fruitful life are directly reliant on the…

This literature review aims to provide and analyze an overview of STEAM research from 2011 to October 2021. The Springer database identifies the journal articles. This study used a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) [1] with a prismatic flow diagram that can show inclusion activities and data search results [2]. There are 470 articles spread across 12 sub-disciplines, and after each paper from all the documents has been double-checked, 124 articles have met the inclusion criteria and were selected for review. The result obtained from the STEAM research articles has progressed from time to time. Of 72 articles analyzed, the most productive journal name is the International Journal of STEM Education, with the United States of America as the first rank of publishing STEAM research articles. The qualitative research method is the most widely used in STEAM research, with the most research instrument using semi-structured interviews. The effect of research articles has a 99% positive impact on the research. It can include more aspects and articles to analyze and should be able to take…

Technology in education today has an important contribution to facilitating students' virtual experiences to develop ideas through laboratories for learning. Even though the potential of the virtual laboratory has been proven and investigated by many experts in the field of research, the virtual laboratory has not been synthesized for physics education. This study aims to identify trends in virtual laboratories in physics education. The method used is classifying and analyzing 30 articles collected from the Scopus database into seven sections: journal publication, virtual laboratory trends in physics education, research approach, physics content, research subjects, characteristics of the virtual laboratory used, and thinking skills studied. And the country of implementation, weaknesses, and suggestions. Virtual laboratory trends in physics education include subject, topic, level of education, type of virtual laboratory, and country where the virtual laboratory is applied. A review of research results shows that the use of virtual laboratories in the last six years has varied. Then,…

Pavement contributes greatly to increasing urban temperatures and increasing the urban heat island (UHI) effect in cities. An urban heat island (UHI) happens when the air temperature in an urban area is higher than in nearby suburbs and rural areas. Numerous negative consequences of the UHI phenomena include increased energy consumption brought on by excessive air conditioning use, air pollution and global warming, a loss of health, and disruptions to ecosystems. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out mitigation efforts to reduce the impact of solar heat absorption by roads on urban warming. This article will conduct a literature assessment on the possible application of cool asphalt pavements, particularly in tropical areas, in an effort to lessen the impacts of UHI and lower urban temperatures. This article summarizes the typical cooling techniques used by cool pavements and shows how they affect the tropical environment. The bibliometric analysis was used as the technique of the literature review. Compared to traditional literature reviews, it reduces the possibility of…

Early identification and accurate diagnosis are crucial for successful therapy and improved patient outcomes of brain tumors. The study looks at how deep learning may help detect brain tumors, including how convolutional neural networks (CNNs) can change the face of diagnostic imaging. This underscores the need of precise and timely identification of brain cancer for efficient therapy and enhanced patient results. The study discusses the challenges associated with tumor segmentation and classification, such as variations in size, shape, and location. To overcome these challenges, deep learning techniques are utilized to analyze brain scans and identify tumor abnormalities. However, the paper underscores the importance of these models serving as tools to assist medical professionals rather than replacing their expertise. Additionally, the paper presents a comparative study that evaluates different techniques, artificial neural networks (ANN) achieve the highest accuracy at 99%, followed by Support Vector Machine (SVM) at 98.9%. vision transformer (ViT), Extreme Gradient Boosting (XG…

Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM), also known as Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF), can be called a primary additive manufacturing technology used for rapid prototyping of items with complex geometry. However, these techniques have limitations, including poor dimensional precision and insufficient mechanical characteristics.Several studies have shown that such process factors significantly impact the manufactured product quality.Considering this, a thorough evaluation of the impact of process variables such as, nozzle diameter, extrusion temperature, layer thickness, infill density, raster angle, build orientation and infill patterns on mechanical characteristics was conducted. The literature review indicates layer thickness is one of the crucial factors compared to other parameters.Studies also reveal that the mechanical characteristics and the quality of 3D printed parts have a significant impact due to adjustments in FDM process settings. It is also found that achieving an ideal combination of process parameters is quite challenging. Therefore, in this study, an evaluation of the…

This paper presents the research on Improvement in OEE for manufacturing industries. The Industrial Revolution was an era of significant technological advancement which begun in the 18th century and transformed the way that goods were produced. The introduction of steam power, mechanization, and mass production led to increased efficiency and productivity, but also had significant social and environmental impacts. Today, we are experiencing another transformation in the way that goods are produced, and services are delivered through the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). IIoT combines traditional industrial processes with modern technology such as sensors, data analytics, and machine learning to optimize and automate processes. Like the Industrial Revolution, IIoT is transforming the way that goods are produced, but with some significant differences. The primary focus of IIoT is not just to increase efficiency and productivity, but also to improve quality control, reduce downtime, and optimize resource usage. IIoT enables machines and devices to communicate with one another in…
