Where Kahubi fits your work

Transcription

Consultations and interviews, transcribed

Record a consultation or research interview and get a speaker-labeled transcript in 99+ languages, processed in the EU. Summarize, structure into notes, and keep the record in your workspace.

Research answers

Clinical questions, checked against the literature

Ask a focused question and Kahubi screens papers for whether they support or oppose it — evidence you can cite in a discussion, not a chatbot’s recollection.

Experiment (RCT)

Trials with the paperwork built in

Power analysis, preregistration, randomization, and CONSORT-compliant reporting — the methodological scaffolding for a clinical study, in one flow.

Ethics application

Ethics applications, drafted

Draft the ethics or IRB application with consent forms, grounded in your actual protocol instead of a blank template.

Systematic review

Reviews to PRISMA standard

For guideline work or publication: define the question, screen with explicit criteria, and produce a written review following PRISMA or Cochrane.

Monitor

Your specialty, monitored

Follow the journals, topics, and authors in your field and get a digest of new papers — CME reading that finds you.

AI chat

Chat with your library, not a generic chatbot

Kahubi answers from the papers, drafts, datasets, and transcripts you actually have. Type @ to pull any source into the conversation; the agent reads it, searches your library, and cites what it used.

  • @-mention papers, drafts, datasets, interviews, and files
  • Select text in any PDF to explain, summarize, or translate it
  • Agent searches OpenAlex and the web, and imports papers for you

Writing

Write accurate manuscripts, grounded in your sources

Draft in a clean editor and let the AI help — it writes in your voice, learned from your own publications, and every paragraph stays anchored to the papers, data, and notes you actually have, never invented. Read it as a formatted PDF, edit it like a Word document, or drop into LaTeX when you want fine control.

  • Writes in your voice: a style profile learned from your published work, not a generic chatbot register
  • Grounded in your library: the AI writes from your real papers and data, and cites what it used
  • One click to a compiled PDF, plus Word (.docx) export and full version history

Common questions

Can I use the transcription for patient consultations?
Transcription is processed on an EU endpoint and material stays in your workspace — a strong baseline for GDPR contexts. Whether recording consultations is appropriate depends on your jurisdiction, institution, and patient consent requirements, so clear it with your data-protection officer first. Many clinicians start with research interviews and dictated notes, where the rules are simpler.
Is this a clinical decision support tool?
No. Kahubi is a research and documentation workspace: it summarizes literature with sources and handles study workflows. It does not diagnose, recommend treatment, or replace clinical judgment.
I have one afternoon a week for research. Does this actually help?
That constraint is exactly the point. Screening literature, transcribing interviews, drafting ethics applications, and formatting manuscripts are where research afternoons disappear - Kahubi compresses that assembly work so the afternoon goes to the study itself.
