Programme rules: no bidding on the Kahubi brand in paid search, no coupon-site listings, no self-referrals, and no spam. Breaking them forfeits unpaid commissions.
How is a referral tracked?
Your link kahubi.com/yourhandle sets a 60-day cookie. Anyone who creates an account inside that window is yours. If you also have a discount code, customers who use it at checkout are attributed to you even without the link.
When do I get paid?
Commissions earned in a month become payable on the last day of the following month, so refunds are settled first. Balances of at least $10.00 are paid at the start of each month by Stripe, bank transfer, or PayPal, whichever you choose in your dashboard.
What about refunds?
If a referred customer is refunded or disputes a charge, the matching commission is removed. If it was already paid, it is deducted from your next payout.
Can I refer myself or my own lab?
You cannot earn on your own subscription. Referring colleagues, students, or your department is exactly what the programme is for.
Which countries can join?
Partners from any country are welcome, with two exceptions: countries under EU sanctions (for example Russia, Belarus, Iran, Syria and North Korea) and Israel. Applications from those countries are declined. Payouts go by Stripe, bank transfer or PayPal, so you need one of those available where you live.
Can the programme change or end?
Yes. We may change commission rates, the recurring period or these rules, or close the programme, with 30 days’ notice by email to active partners. Changes apply to commissions earned after the notice period, never to commissions already earned. If the programme closes, or if Kahubi is transferred to another company, every commission earned up to that date is still paid on the normal schedule. The programme and its obligations may be assigned to a successor company, which may continue, change or close it under the same 30 day notice rule.
Do I need to send invoices?
No. Every payout comes with a statement that serves as a self-billing invoice, including VAT treatment based on the tax details you give us.
