Nordic research databases your AI assistant can search

Kahubi is built in Sweden, and Nordic sources are a priority. It connects to the national archives of Sweden and Finland, the statistics offices of all five Nordic countries, Norway’s research registry Cristin, Swedish municipal indicators, the Riksbank, the Riksdag, the Swedish and Norwegian national libraries and their digitised newspapers, the historical Swedish newspaper corpus in Korp, SMHI weather records, Nationalmuseum and the Human Protein Atlas.

Ask in Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish or English. Because the Nordic statistics offices share the same table format, cross-Nordic comparisons take one question instead of five separate downloads.

Frequently asked questions

Can I ask in Swedish or another Nordic language?
Yes. The assistant understands and answers in the Nordic languages, and searching full-text collections in the language of the documents gives the best results.
Are all five Nordic statistics offices covered?
Yes. Statistics Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland are all connected, and four of them share the same table format, so the assistant can line up the same measure across countries.
Where is my data processed?
Kahubi runs on European infrastructure. Only the search the assistant writes is sent to a source, never your files.
